A week later than expected but here it is, the Ike DLC is announced at the 3 month anniversary of the game’s release. Unsurprisingly, he comes in the same customized hero class as Paris. Kaneda Eiji is the artist behind this artwork.

Light vs Dark 3: Decisive Battle

It’s 5 stars, costs 400 yen and will be released next Thursday July 26. It comes with the ‘Limit Break Manual’, that teaches a skill that will raise the stats of an unit by 10 over the maximum, truly a great prize for defeating the most difficult DLC map. Will this be the final DLC map?

I…don’t know what to say? I was waiting for this the moment I heard that previous characters would be returning as DLC/Spotpass, but I think the hype might’ve gone to my head for Ike. I don’t like it nor hate it? It’s nice, but something’s rather strange about it?

And why is Ike missing his left arm? o_O; It looks like he’s carrying (at least, I hope this is the case/the artist’s interpretation) a jousting spear for horseback riding.

His head doesn’t look like it’s attached properly…? Like it looks like it’s photoshopped on to me. o_o And why is he so scrawny and wiry? This is IKE. He’s supposed to be beefy. :’c

…holy fuck the anatomy on that blue-haired kid is horrible. Also, no fucking way is that Ike. Ike is built like a brick wall. And that armor is absolutely terrible. (Dear artists: Do not design armor with an “Aim here to kill me!” design. That goes against the point of armor.)
